Preparing for the transition to post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is no longer a subject of prospective research and development, but a matter of planned structural transformation of cybersecurity, driven by regulatory, technological, and economic forces. It will be long, it will be costly…but it is mandatory!
This report analyzes the state of readiness for PQC in France in the summer of 2026 and highlights a central conclusion: the transition is not a simple cryptographic upgrade and a few somewhat heavy updates, but rather a long-term systemic transformation of digital trust infrastructures.
