Summary

The global Nitrogen Tyre Inflator market is projected to grow from US$ million in 2024 to US$ million by 2031, at a CAGR of %(2025-2031), driven by critical product segments and diverse end‑use applications, while evolving U.S. tariff policies introduce trade‑cost volatility and supply‑chain uncertainty.
The greatest benefit of nitrogen tire inflation compared to standard compressed air—or the type of air you’d typically find at the air pump at your local gas station—is that nitrogen may help keep tires inflated longer. It’s a matter of basic chemistry. Standard compressed air is composed of the same air we breathe. This means it’s about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% a mixture of other gasses such as carbon dioxide. Compressed nitrogen for tire inflation is much more homogenous, generally between 93-99% pure nitrogen with the rest comprised of an admixture of other gasses.
Nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules, meaning that it’s more difficult for nitrogen to leak out of your tires through the innerliner membrane used to retain air. This natural process of air escaping is known as permeability. While both nitrogen and oxygen can and will eventually find their way through the tire’s innerliner, it can take up to six times longer for nitrogen verses oxygen.
Nitrogen Tyre Inflator uesd for cars and vehicles features innovative Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) technology. It is a highly accurate and reliable product that employs standard compressed air supply to produce a Nitorgen enriched mixture , ensuring a longer life for the car"s tyres and enhanced driver safety.
In 2022, global tire sales reached 1.749 billion units, of which the three major markets of Europe, North America and China will collectively sell 1.14 billion units, accounting for 65% of the total. China is the world"s largest tire producer and exporter. Among the top 75 tire companies in 2022 released by Tire Business, 34 are Chinese companies (including 5 from Taiwan), with a total sale of approximately US$ 34.5 billion, accounting for approximately 19.42% of the total global sales. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, by the end of December 2022, the output of rubber tire casings in China was about 856 million. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, in 2022, the cumulative export volume of rubber tires in China was 7.65 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%; the export value was ¥131.418 billion, an increase of 16%; the trade surplus was 103.709 billion yuan, an increase of ¥15.89 billion.
