Protein G Sepharose is widely used in biochemical, immunological, and biopharmaceutical applications for antibody purification, immunoprecipitation, and co-immunoprecipitation workflows. Compared to Protein A, Protein G offers broader species and subclass binding specificity, particularly effective for mouse IgG1 and rat IgG subclasses, making it a valuable tool in both research and clinical antibody production.
